Lynn Yang is an award-winning composer known for her diverse influences and unique musical voice. Her work has been showcased at music festivals and concerts across North America, Europe, and Asia. Notably, her orchestral piece “Between the Endless Mountains” was performed by the China National Orchestra and the China National Ballet Orchestra in 2015, the same year she received the prestigious International Composer’s Award from the China National Performing Arts Centre.
Born and raised in China, Lynn moved to Canada in 2011, where she studied music composition and electroacoustics under Owen Underhill and David MacIntyre at Simon Fraser University. Drawing on her rich cultural background, she crafts compelling sonic landscapes that evoke a wide range of emotions, creating distinctive scores for video games. Currently based in Ontario Canada, Lynn continues to compose for video games.
